But I don't think you're a stalker, only curious about somebody else. Maybe you just don't want to bother talking to them until you see what their 'Myspace' says about them first?

Another bad thing about myspace type places- nobody has to work at making personal relationships if a computer does it for them. Don't use a machine for human to human interface!

When myspace on a computer becomes 'the phone' then you get to see what someone is about (or what they claim to be about)without having to apply any interpersonal skills. All those type of sites are kind of voyeuristic, therefore slightly antisocial. This is what the computer does, IMO.

Usually if I search for a friend's name on Myspace, I'm trying to see if they have one at all so I can add them to my friends list and chat and whatnot.

Is that what you do? Or what exactly are you doing when you search for people?
