For some reason I can't figure out, when I go to class I get really tired. I can't concentrate on notes or what the teacher is saying because I suddenly feel like I am drugged. This happens when I start doing homework to, I get real tired. Is it psychological? Anyone else feel like this?
Yeah, I know what you mean. I've had that happen sometimes. I'll be all ready for the day then I sit down for class and I just instantly feel drained. :?
I've had a similar experience but usually only for one class. When I was in high school, I had to take a geography course. The second I sat down, I told my friend sitting next to me to wake me up if I'm still asleep by the end of class. I did this every day for the entire semester. Now for the record, I didn't sleep because I'm a jerk. I slept because that class was set up horribly and taught even worse. Funny thing is, I passed that class with a 72.
It is getting to be a real problem for me, I can't focus on notes the teacher is giving in math, I can't understand anything I read in my math book, so I am not learning things well.
Not when I'm in cIass (unless I had a very bad night), but when I'm doing homework. Sometimes I need a caffeine drink along with a boatload of sugar just to stay awake.

Our education is flawed. Lecture for 90 minutes does nothing, tests only measure how well you remembered the info for one 90 minute period before you forget it.
Here's my advice: exercise while sitting. Hold your breath as long as you can and improve your breathing and lung capacity. Stretch your legs out and pull your quads and get stronger. I don't think anyone has really thought about how bad our system is. Kids are forced from 8 to 3 everyday to stay in these institutions when they could get much better education if they're homeschooled.
I don't get tired but I've been spacey latley. I used to have that problem though. Try going to bed earlier and getting some exercising in during the day, that helped me.

I would find myself falling asleep then I would glance at the girl and then back to the teacher. I'm always in the back of the class, unless the teacher makes a dreadful seating chart. That way I can get away with it.
i think its those awful chairs, i always slouch and get tired in regular classes, but the computer classes/woodshop classes have some better chairs and i never fall asleep there.

Only in my Accounting class. Seriously, I can't figure out why I took this class >_>
It's a complete joke and the teacher is even worse. All what we do is these useless balance sheets or income statements. They are completly pointless and repetitive. The only good thing that keeps me from sleeping is that my COD4 friends are in that class, so I have something interesting to talk about.
You have a disorder, you should go get tested at various education places. They will better be able to instruct you by putting you in special classes, have fun.
You get bored which leads to being tired. Luckily this semester, I have a few pretty girls and entertaining professors to keep me awake during lectures. That plus a Red Bull usually does the trick.
