I sure am. I teach the 6th grade and I'm not allowed to say "Merry Christmas." It's not Christmas Break, it's Holiday break. Just because some people don't celebrate Christmas, that means I can't say Merry Christmas? This is a complete joke. I respect you and your religion that does not celebrate Christmas, but I should still be able to say Merry Christmas. I know that this is a little late, but if I don't rant about it now, I have to wait an entire year to do it.monkeytoes61
Say what you want to. I have no problem with that at all. I say it and mean christmas and new years .
Just say Merry Christmas anyway and if someone tells you not to then tell them to F**K OFF! Jesus Christ is the reason the Christmas holiday even exists... Even if you don't believe in Christ, the story in the Bible of Jesus' birth is THE reason CHRISTmas exists.

But if it didn't exist there would be no holiday break or any of that.

I have to say it annoys me when somebody says "Merry Christmas" to me when they don't know what religion I am. It's like when people use just my first name trying to be personal when they know nothing about me.
If you happen to know a person is Christian then "Merry Christmas" is fine, but you shouldn't just assume everybody is celebrating Christmas. It's ideas like that which make some people believe the US is a nation that should be built on Christian values, and making a mockery of our Nation.
Today I think most non-christians have come to accept that Christmas is going to be forced upon them and willingly allow it, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be curtious to the minority.
you got it backwards we believe the nation was built on christian values. And it was. People like you want to erase that cause you got a hair up your butt.I have to say it annoys me when somebody says "Merry Christmas" to me when they don't know what religion I am. I bet you didn't know that Kwanzaa was created by Ron Karenga, some no-name African American rights activist in Baltimore in 1966. Now think about the legitimacy of that holiday.
