I guess the simplest term would be rock. From Three Days Grace to Mute Math to Avenged Sevenfold. Not too heavy, but not too slow.

Did you switch the site over to the english version before downloading or something?:PNope, but I went through and fixed it all after it was downloaded. I love copy and paste, there's no way I'd be able to figure out how to type those characters in by hand.
Wow, this is the only thing in my collection that the Zune software hasn't recognized to find album info. I was hopeful since it found Änglagård.
Yeah. My iPod has quite a few songs from the FIFA soundtracks. Those games have some great music from other countries.

 Yeah that would be a pain. That doesn't surprise me:P ÄnglagÃ¥rd are quite a bit more popular then Обійми Дощу (35 times as many listeners on last.fm)[QUOTE="Guppy507"][QUOTE="Darth-Caedus"]Did you switch the site over to the english version before downloading or something?:PDarth-Caedus

It's pretty much the same way. Not quite as fast and easy, but yeah. I just did it.
First off, WOW! This post is starting to take on a life of it's own!
I used to listen to some Japanese music, but now I only like English music.Cherokee_Jack
Can I ask why?
Yes, I know plenty of metal bands that sing in other languages.
RobboElRobbo
And I have to, but I don't think it was any know language...Except really loud monkey nosies...
Not that all metal is bad, I've listened to Matallica and liked it before. But some of the later stuff is just....
You seem to be confusing death and black metal with 'later' metal, the vast majority of metal has clean vocals, those two sub-genres are the only ones that use it exclusively. And I have to, but I don't think it was any know language...Except really loud monkey nosies...

I don't know. I just don't encounter non-English music that I like.
It's partially because I'm more interested in the vocals of songs than most people are, so I like to be able to understand the lyrics.
