Does anyone else live in a bubble and not worry about the rest of the world?

I am definitely, you could say, "in a bubble" cause I worry about myself and my family and don't give a damn about the rest of the world and what's going on around me. I worry about school and keep busy with games, music, movies and TV shows. I don't vote or give a damn about which country we're fighting. I don't watch the news or worry about global warming or anything like that. Are any of you like me?-MlKE-

Well, I'm one of those people who never asks "how's it going" to someone, even most of the time when they ask me. I just respond "Ok" or "Alright".

I don't really care about a lot of things, how people are doing is one of them.

I can understand why you are like this, as, at the end of the day, only YOU will feel the consequences of yourself or others, or any other third entity (asteroid, etc.). While this may be true, you should really view life on a more holistic scale in terms of the possible or likely repercussions your actions may end up affecting you in either the long or the short term. I beleive all pseudo-moral concepts originate from this very question. The old addage "do unto others" only addresses this in a simplistic capacity, in that it does not account for how OTHERS which don't think like you may view your actions, so always take that into consideration and act accordingly, and with your best interests in mind.

Youre not getting my point, im not even talking about global warming. What im trying to say (which i really suck at) is that you dont have an excuse for not caring, youre just being lazy and trying to avoid worry.
You dont have to stop caring about your life or your other priorities in order to be informed and engaged in topics such as politics or war, starvation, etc.
