So i had this awesome idea today to post on boards with my phone while underwater. I'd get a snorkel of course so i could breath. How awesome would that be? So does anyone know how to waterproof a phone?

There's already a waterproof phone. I forget what company it's with, but there's already one. And it works great, apparently.

Put your cellphone in your toilet, flush it and wait for it to return

Not very awesome. But to answer your question, put it in a ziplock bag. Sure it's not spectacular, but neither is your idea.

All phones manufactured after 2005 have electronics inside that will work fine underwater, if you're phone was made after 2005, then just go ahead and jump in and you're fine.

Google works. I don't remember the name of the phone. I was watching the news, they were testing it, said it was a deal, and they were at a water park. *Shrugs.* I don't know much about it besides that. I think it's with Verizon, but I could be wrong.

Don't, I don't think mobile phones are waterproof, some of them maybe resistant . search waterproof mobile phone in google you might find some, although I think most of them are outdated.
