If you enjoy your dreams, they're not exactly nightmares.

I mean Yeah he is making a point conceptually, a dream isnt a nightmare if you can enjoy it

Cookie for you. When I have the nightmare, I feel scared and everything that other people feel (I assume) but after I abruptly wake up I then enjoy my dream... it's hard to explain

I'm pretty sure dreams and nightmares are two different things. A dream is happy and usually doesn't make you wake up in a pool of your own sweat. A nightmare is scary and causes you to jolt out of a sound sleep.

I think I know what you mean, I have a friend who kinda likes them mostly because he finds them interesting.

*cough* Alien threesomes *cough* :D
Not usually, but there are some that are so intense, sick, and twisted how could you not admire them. Makes you wonder how sick you actually are. Its awesome..sometimes
Depends on what kind of nightmare
But honestly, you have loads of dreams in your sleep, and you only the remember the ones when you wake up.
Even still, nightmare or not, still makes you think.Without dreams or nightmares, how boring would sleeping be?

I like the pic in your sig. Was that taken recently?
Anyway, I really dislike nightmares, and when I wake up from one in the middle of the night, i'm afraid of going back to sleep because i'm afraid the dream will just pick up again.
No I hate them.
I dream about random things almost everynight and have nightmares maybe twice a month. I always wake up sweating and afraid to go back to sleep.
It's a horrorshow, IN YOUR BRAIN!
I like it when I remember my dreams, no matter what they're about. The stories are so surreal.

I keep a regular dream diary, myself. I find that it helps with dream recall immensely, and I'm always surprised how I'll instantly remember a dream if I read what I wrote about it upon waking up.

I'd like to do that, but I usually have no recollection of my dreams when I wake up. I might remember bits and peices some mornings, but I never remember my dreams vividly.

Well, that's precisely why you keep a dream diary. :P It's a snowball effect. If you write down those bits and pieces, that will train your mind that you want to remember your dreams, resulting in remembering more the next time, and before long you'll remember large coherent chunks of your dreams.
Dream recall is not an inborn talent; it's something that can be improved over time (and without that much effort, too).
