If anyone is honestly expecting him to go back to the edgy, R-rated days of the 1980s-early 90's, I don't think it's going to happen at all. His Delerious and Raw days are long gone.

More like "Does anyone give a damn about Eddie Murphy anymore?" I sure don't. Last good movie he was in was Dreamgirls and 2006 was a long time ago.

The one thing about Eddie Murphy i'm disapointed in the most is that he never ended up going to africa and marrying some tribal woman that cant divorce him.

Did I ever respect him? No, me being black person I never him funny. Even his 80s stuff, I mean it's way better than anything post-80s but I'm not a fan.
Everything afterwards has been nothing but crap. And being black, you never hear the end of the Norbit praise from other black people. That movie is terrible. Tower Heist was suprisingly good though, Matthew Broderick being the best part, because he didn't over do it, but he didn't under act. His seemingly under-enthusiastic acting is what made him the best.
