I have just bought my Wii a few weeks ago and I already have 3 games plus a points card and a lan adapter. I think Ive spoiled myself there and I still feel that I want more. It seems every week im buying something from Target or Best Buy. Does anyone else feel the same way or spoiled themselves?

You know its funny. I was spoiled when i was young and I always thought that everything will be given to me if I asked for it. I soon realized that in reality, it wasnt going to happen and that no one is going to hand me want I want on a golden platter. So I grew out of it and I have never asked for anything agian from my parents except for daily needs. I back down when my wonderful parents offer me anything materialistic. I rather earn my things now

Ya, it kinda sucks. It makes me feel like **** because I know I dont deserve it. God gave me this amazing life so I might as well enjoy it though. Dont feel bad about it, just enjoy it and not let it get to your head.

Yes. When I buy something expensive or materialistic I always think about how this could feed a bunch of kids in Africa or something.

Corny, but true.

I don't think you can spoil yourself when you buy everything for yourself. How spoiled can you be if you're working to pay for the things you love?

You never mentioned who paid for it though, so my whole ramble there could be worthless.

well i grew up with poor parents. been working odd jobs since 13 (part time) and left HS early to work full time. i did and seen some things in life im not really proud of but my struggling has paid off and now i'm living above the middle class. so yes i spoil myself constantly...but i don't think itz good for youngins to be spoiled because many of them don't understand the value of a dollar, appreciate hard work or the fruits of labor.

I think I was spoiled when I was a youngster and took less than 10 years to grow out of it. Right now, I consider most of my things to be well-earned, so I don't fall into that attitude of constant greed.

I don't think so. Spoiled is all relative. There is always sombody who has it worse than you who would say your are spoiled. And there is nothing wrong with "spoling" yourself.

I would like to be spoiled.cyberdarkkid

Same here :) I'm not a very pampered girl but occasionally it would me nice for Braindead_hero to take me out somewhere...

I did get spoiled a few months ago by my grandpa - he bought me a 575 quid camera. Admittedly it's my birthday and christmas present for the next 5 years and I needed it for photography class but still :P
