Of course it does. It also helps if you are a cold blooded bastard with no conscience.

Well, yeah. Drug dealers run the risk every single time they are out there, it only takes one slip up to end their 'career'.

I was thinking this the other day: Banks and shops are only allowed to carry a certain amount of cash in their registers, so the staff are trained to just hand it over without the company taking a massive loss. How many banks/shops would you have to rob to be able to make a living?

Depends... are we talking long-term? I you have two 15 year old guys... one of them got a job with a gang of robbers and drug dealers, the other took the job at Burger King... who will have a better life in 30 years? I'd bet my money on the guy who took the job at BK.

Selling drugs definitely pays well......and (depending on the drug) can get you plenty of women as well. But you live a nervous life.

....or so I've heard. :P

Yes, it really messes with the mind, everywhere you look you think someones going to either kill you or bust you. It's not worth the wealth. Or so I've heard. >__>

Depends where. In the UK prostitution isn't illegal, but soliciting it is.

Hmmmmm, you didn't happen to memorize the probability of overdosing on burgers if you're a BK employee, did you? I guess the chance of that happening could be slightly higher than overdosing on drugs if you're a drug dealer but I'm not sure........

...I'm just curious, how does a 15 year old guy turn high class prostitute? >.>
I'd still bet money on the BK employee. Heard there's a high suicide rate among prostitutes, on the other hand, never checked that rate among fasyt food employees.

Studies show that burgerexploditis, as it is commonly known, is a gradual process in most cases, though eating more then 2 Whoppers a day can increase the chances by more than 87%.

Depends in your social status. Yes and No. Sadly in an unfair and corrupted world we live in, money talks for you. Ye Gon, a wealthy man was busted with $207 million dollars worth of drug money but he won't sit in jail, A man in Japan killed and ate a girl awhile back but his rich dad bailed him out after 6 months and he's living life as a celebrity, dont forget the corrupted politicians and war criminals *cough*Bush*cough*. So no, crime doesnt pay at times, only morality will take the toll. Money tells where you go.

With a scientific name like that it just has to be serious. I've changed my mind, if a 15 year old ever asks me for advice about his career choice I'll tell him that it's better to become a drug dealer than work at a fast food joint. Thank you for clearing that up for me Dr Spazz.

Yes it does until you get caught, then you usually lose it all and a little more ... in real terms its not worth it, there isn't a pot full of gold at the end, just a prison cell.

Actually, in the short term, it usually does. But in the long term, no. You're bound to get caught or in some form of trouble.

Crime, as in robbing banks and stuff and dealing drugs, doesn't pay. If you are a real crook like those in the banking sector then it sure does pay to be a ****

Yep. My mum's best mate used to live in a quite big house on the Grove. She moved out and some guy moved in and did up the place - it's really fancy with an electronic keypadded gate and sports cars etc. Mum knew that bloke from school and said he wasn't very intelligent and left with virtually no qualifications. Apparently he did some dodgey stuff and is now living there while mum who has worked hard all her life struggles to pay the bills.

Seeing as how Robber-baron families such as the Rothschilds have laid claim to more than half of this planet and have amassed money beyond trillions I would say YES crime does pay, it also allows you to create the law as you see fit in some cases.
