If he lives in Illinois and in the Chicago-land area I'm pretty sure he can get a job. As far as Gamestop goes, I think they go more for older college age teens. In the current economic situation, don't count on getting a job at 16 any time soon.

anyway
Anyway what? I'm dead serious. Employers are looking for experienced workers in this economy. Not some smart ass 16 year old. Most college grads can't even get jobs right now.[QUOTE="Pirate700"]If he lives in Illinois and in the Chicago-land area I'm pretty sure he can get a job. Well, I have friends who have applied at 17 and been denied, so I think its more likely if you are 18+ And yes, I live in Illinois so I think that's pretty accurate.[QUOTE="A22A221N_47"][QUOTE="majoras_wrath"] If he lives in Illinois and in the Chicago-land area I'm pretty sure he can get a job. I'm pretty sure Gamestop doesn't hire anyone under 18 anywhere.scorch-62I'm pretty sure they do. http://careers.gamestop.com/Careers/FAQ.aspx Also, cheer up. Keep applying everywhere you can. You'll get a job eventually. The situation is bad, but it's not as bad as some people say.

They wouldn't even interview one of my friends because he was only 17.
