Honestly, I'm curious, how do gay people know when someone else is gay (unless they are obviously flamboyant)?

Yes it does exist.Bloodseeker23But is it solely based off subtle queues on how a person acts, or is there more to it?
[QUOTE="xaos"]Yes, I can generally identify other gay guys by facial queues and eye contact that lingers longer than normalPffrbt
Those seem kind of vague.
Well, you do seem to find my answers unsatisfactory in general[QUOTE="Pffrbt"][QUOTE="xaos"]Yes, I can generally identify other gay guys by facial queues and eye contact that lingers longer than normalxaos

Since the early 1940's the American military has been working on top secret gaydar technology to keep up with the Russians.

outside of having sex with the same gender (which is generally a private act), how does someone act gay?
My gaydar is nonexistent, seeing as how my cousin who I have been very close to my entire life is gay Apparently when he came out to the family, I was the only person that had no idea that he was gay I thought the little feminine asian kid that wore makeup that he hung around with a lot was just a good friend. Sue me.
However, I've gone into gay bars and the most of the men there can immediately tell that I'm straight. And I'm not hiding in a corner either. I approach many of them and socialize, and I still get called out on it. It's quite fascinating to me; but probably because my gaydar is broken.
EDIT: My periods(puncuation marks) don't work. :(
