ya but my dad is relatively young even for my age (im 18, he's 41) so im not worried that he'll be gone anytime soon. my mom is older tho, i dont even know how old, 47 or 48. she still looks like shes 38 tho, weird. she'll be so old and i wont even notice it haah.

My only grandpa(90) and his sister(89) are always saying how they'ved lived too long and want to die.

Its what they want. They are ready to embrace death.

The thing that makes me sad is that they have reached the point where they are so old that they just want to die already. If they want to die, they should be allowed to die.

Personally, if I get that old, I really want a shot that puts you to sleep and then kills you. Like being a dog getting put down. Completely painless. I believe this is a way better option then suffering through the pain,and/or various diseases of old age.

Not really. Tis the circle of life and all that. It used to make me sad when I was younger, but I've come to realize that everyone is going to die one day whether you are young or whether you are old. There's no reason to worry about such trivial things as age.

If you want a painless death just breath only helium. Funny way to go.

except diamonds!

Unless of course you put a magnifying glass to it under the sun. Then all you have is carbon dust. For those of you reading this do not test it on your wifes wedding ring. That might get you a darwin award after she's through with you.

Yah every now and then ill think about that. I used to worry about that so much when i was younger. It's kind of funny, when you're younger, you just want to grow older, cause it seems more fun. Then when you finally are it's not as great. Don't get me wrong, I like to be able to drive, get into rated R movies, girls, etc. But some how having more responsibility is kind of a let down. Idk maybe thats just me.

Yeah its a little sad when thinking about it. When its time for them to die you will fall apart if your real close and might have to take depression pills and other stuff.

I also think I don't even have grand parents.

Yeah, my parents are only in their mid 50's but it makes me realize how short life is, it seems like yesterday I was 7 and my dad was turning 30.

Sort of. It makes me more sad thinking that my childhood is pretty much over, and that my sister/brother are close to moving out. It's gonna be so weird, being the only teen at home. I can't believe its over. Actually, when I think about that, it makes me fairly sad.

Once I thought about it and it kinda made me sad. Now, it usually never enters my mind. Even now, I'm not really think about it while I post in this thread.
