Does my brother have the right to insult my height?

Hey, I am barely 5'10" and 19 while my 17 y/o brother is 5'10 1/2. He calls me a midget, manlet, tiny etc. all the time.

If I wear slippers I am about the same height as him, and I become noticeably taller than him when he has his shoes off and I have my shoes on. But he still is half an inch taller than me and over 2 year younger. Just wondering if you think he is justified in his insults (ie. if he is really tall enough to insult me about my height.) Thoughts? Have you ever been insulted because of your height?

He seems to be arguing that his height is a sign of his arete while yours is a sign of lacking and therefore worthless. I wonder if he supports segregation based on height and a specialization of the human race, with people his height and age in their own societal group.

I also have to second this. I'm a male who's 5'7. "Technically", that's average. But let's be real here: 5'7 isn't really tall for a guy; I'd kill to be three inches taller. :P

When I was still growing up, I was shorter than most of my male cousins. But, I can take em down because I was the most athletic among ourselves. Whenever we're together, I tended to be the alpha even though I'm not the tallest (I'm also the eldest).

Your brother has the right to insult anything and everything about you. You have the same right in regards to him. This is what being a brother is.

I suggest that you wait until he falls asleep one night and then use a chainsaw to hack his feet off at the ankles.

This will have the dual effects of:

A. Ensuring that you are taller than him, and

B. Demonstrating that in a battle of height, the guy with the chainsaw wins.

I remember in basic that there was a person so tall that when a T.I. told him to get on his face he'd yell "TIMMMMMMMMMMMBER!!!!!" Lolz.
