How many of you have a youtube account? And what do you do with yours?

It's one of my favourite sites actually, I have an account and I upload videos every so often.

Yes, and I can't think of anything sarcastic to say about what I do with it so im just gonna say I save videos that are either to do with the fact their from a favourite band of mine or I find them mildy amusing.
:)
I would but i'm not exactly a PC wiz...so i have no clue how to...so i basically use mine to watch videos, comment and listen to music before buying it..
Yep, got a couple videos up. All of them are guitar covers.

I haven't had much time to learn any new songs so my latest vid is about 4 months old.
Do I do Youtube? Yes I do good sirs. I been doing it for two years and have been enjoying it. Yea I do video game reviews, anime reviews, rants and commentaries. I may not have the best camera ok, I have a sucky camera, but I think I make up alot in content. I think about 5400 of my subs would agree with that, Yeah it takes alot of work to get that many subscribers, but its very rewarding, and one thing I learned is no matter how many subs you get, treat them with respect cause they are willing to give you a listen to. Too many people fall victim to ego...and while I am confident in my channel, I know that there are channels better then mine that have less subs, and that they deserve subs as well. So if you start out and you get only ten subs be appreciative of it.
I have one. Don't use it for much though. :P
Thinking of Doing Game Reviews or Something on it in the future. It's been done so many times I don't think I'd make it very far though :(
Especially with competition like AVGN and Gamespot.

AVGN and Gamesepot are irrelevant to Youtube. The reason for this is because tehy are on other sites, and AVGN only posts older vids or trailers on his account. Gamespot is a website and not just a youtube channel.
I will say, that you will not fail if you do game reviews. Find your own way to do game reviews, and one that is original and you will be great. Its not hard to be original on youtube since alot of youtube users are not really original(Alot of them still copy the avgn angry style of reviewing which is well not relevant anymore)
yeah i have an account. i really only use it to "favorite" videos though. but right now i'm actually trying to figure out how to play a song on guitar and i was gonna upload it to see if you guys thought i did a good job figuring it out or not :P
Echoing what the other guy said, just try to be fresh and you should be fine. Also, you can post your video up in the hopes that it can be featured on the LTA Quad. LTA (LikeTotallyAwesome) is a channel dedicated to entertainment and the Quad is where they feature 4 handpicked videos for people to watch. they're encouraged to rate and comment honestly, meaning that if you do well then you're more likely to get featured there again. That and if it's only a one off thing, then you're guaranteed to get a big help in views at least once.I have one. Don't use it for much though. :P

Try Windows Movie Maker. Its simple to use. It comes with WLM (optionally of course).I hate Movie Maker. You can put clips together, but you can't actually edit the clips besides putting on bad looking effects. I like to cut my videos up. But you have to film very carefully if you want WMM to work well for you. But as a beginner, it should do fine.[QUOTE="Xx_Hopeless_xX"]

I had a YouTube account and it got pretty popular for my MGS music vids and vids of my brothers bashing eachother, but I deleted it because I made it when I was 12 and the username was ridiculous.
[QUOTE="moonlightcharm6"][QUOTE="DJ-Lafleur"]Nope. I only watch 'em, not make 'em.CRS98dido Thrice. Also, thank god this isn't another Woll thread. Same, my girlfriend told me the Woll thread was awful. :s

Your channel is quite entertaining, you donot mind if I give you a plug in a future vid of mine?
I think i´ve only recorded one video of me making my way home from school, but it was only to see if i could get my videoconverter to work, and how uploading things in youtube works. I dont really plan on making more.
There are some channels i frequent every so often, though. :3

Yeah, I'd primarily be reviewing games for the Xbox 360. I don't really see too many of those on there. Thanks for the advice and encouragement. :D

Yeah you will do good. I will be honest though when you first start you will be nervous as heck and I think you need to get rid of your nerves. Your first vids will be rough, trust me, I look at my early vids and I look at my latest vid and I see a tremendous different. You will just learn, and you will learn a style tha is comfortable for you. Some people do reviews with scripts, some donot do them with out scripts(I do my vids in one take and with out scripting thats just my style) no style is worse or better then the other. Its just preference.
Another advice to is, while I Lvoe the gaming community in YT, there tends to be drama at times, just ignore all the drama vids and just focus on your reviews. And yes you will get a troll here and there on yt but just ignore them. Sometimes they will make a vid on you, but just ignore it.
i do but thats because when my niece was born her mom had to leave her at our house so we could take care of her as she couldnt
we made videos of her every week and uploaded them on youtube last we checked we made 150+ videos of her
