Does the sound of a digital alarm clock agitate you too?

I just started high school this year and i have to get up at about 5:25. so now i have to use my alarm clock now. but its been a few months and the thing starts to piss me off. the sound is so blaring and obnoxious. a lot of mornings i find the first thing is say is to my alarm clock, and its "shut the FVCK up" and whenever i hear the sound of it or imagine it in my head i can feel myself get irritated and impatient. who else hates this sound.

That's the way it's supposed to be; the annoying sound motivates you to get up and shut it off as quick as possible. If it were birds chirping, it would relax you and you'd fall back asleep.

yeh i know, but o man it kills me so much. it has caused my brain to reject the sound no matter where it is.

I get awoken by the theme from Super Mario World, its very relaxing.

I have a deep hatred for it. I hate it so much that i force myself to get up before it so i can turn it off without hearing its annoying sounds.

I hate waking up with my alarm, especially if I wake up like a few seconds before it goes off.

Usually I sleep through my alarm, so this year I put it like right next to my head.

The one I have now doesn't bug me that much but the last one was horrible. When I got the new one last year I grabbed my old one and threw it at the wall in my closet where it sat on the floor for the rest of the year. Then at the end of the year when I was packing up stuff I found it again so I finished it with a baseball bat.artichoke

You flipping bet OP. Every morning, every single morning when Iget awaken by the alarm I feel this unbearable rage inside of me and feel like tossing the dam thing or smash it on the ground hard. Then after a successful attempt at stopping myself from comitting a silly mistake, I continue my rage as I make my way to the bathroom.

yeh. this is how i feel. i think if my alarm clokc was a person, he would be an azzhole who talks when we dont want him to and he is loud and everything he says pisses you off and he has no friends but he talks to everyone cuz he thinks they like him.

I refuse to use the buzzer on my alarm clock. Instead I use the radio. I cannot get up that angry.

Now that I'm at college, one of my roomates has one of those bell ones, and the other one has a buzzer type. And then the guys in the room next to me almost never wake up so the alarm goes on for couple of minutes. It just really sucks.
