Does this make you mad or am i just a little strange

okay yesterday was Easter and i turned on all the news stations to see if they would mention Easter, and I got mad because besides Fox no one even mentioned it. CNN was talking about politics and the 2008 election, they overdo that subject so much that i don't even watch them anymore because that election is all they talk about, hopefully the papal visit to the U.S. will give them something else to talk about this april. MSNBC only talked about and praised Obama, it seems to me that that station is definitely biased in his favor.

You're just strange. The news shouldn't care about Easter unless something Easter-themed of importance happened.

And all news stations are biased, Fox among them.

I don't watch the news, so I can't really say that it affects me, though I'm fine with a lack of Easter coverage. It's a holiday that not everyone celebrates so its coverage is not essential.

I do celebrate Easter as a proud Christian if that obtains relevance to my previous statements.

Seriously? Of course they are going to mention it every so often, but not devote the channel to the holiday. We live in a secular nation.

Easter shouldn't be mentioned at all with the far more important issues in the world and country. Why would they take time to talk about a holiday that happens every year that has nothing really to do with country specific history.. When they have things to talk about like a possible recession in our economy whihc could affect the United States or even the world for years to come.sSubZerOo

except it's called Christmas. Easter is also a national holiday and has become commercial (unfortunately) as well. so you don't really make a point with your argument.

well, it is a religious tradition, but it has really got on to the point of being not religious at all.... just as x-mas, but easter sux compared to xmas :S

and as i see it, easter is really aimed at young children :S

Easter= a sunday. And it's still celebrated by enough people in the US and Europe to justify not having school/work even if it was on a weekday.
