Of course not, the most freedom one can get is through the Natural State which is discussed by John Locke. He theorizes that in the natural state, its every one for them selves and you are acapable of doing everything and anything thats with in your power.
But the majority of mankind does not want this and would rather sacrifice some of their freedoms for safety and stability. A farmer would rather be in a community that pays a litlte tribute of food to the community rather then goign on their own with tou the communtiies support and starving to death on a poor crop turn out.
rules and restrictions are in place to keep order not to take away freedom. Without those rules you would have MUCH less freedom then you do now.Beaman
They are there to give stability and security to a person, and you do sacrifice absolute freedom for this.

you need to learn more about communism. its the ultimate freedom in concept
No it isn't...... Absolute freedom is the lack of control what so ever. In any system regardless of yoru ability or power you are hindered in one way or another for added security.

Oh, dear god please tell me we dont have another one:(You are free to undertake any action which is physically possible. Freedom does not entail freedom from consequences, however. What rules and restrictions do you want to be free of?i dont think it does really, seeing as we have a government with rules and restrictions.

Does it exist? A few questions for you:
Are you allowed to talk bad about freedom (like you just did?)
Can you say that your leader sucks?
Can you oppose/support political thingies?
Can you post whatever the **** you want to on Gamespot?
.......Can you do all of these things without Secret Service people coming down your door?
The answer should be 'Yes' to all of those.

there is no government in truecommunism. its people co-operating together in a classless society. you can do whatever you want.

Wrong. People do not get the right for what ever they want to do. The reason for the cooperation is the agreement that I will not kill you and you will not kill me. With out agreements, compromises etc etc that is anarachy, not a government and is merely the Natural State.

Its usually the other way around, the person who HAS the power wants the control.
But even in the most simplistic models there is still things such as not allowing murder for every ones sake.. Why should I sign a cooperation with a partner with not the mutual benefit of safety and acceptance of one another.
sure it does. you're free to do whatever you want, you just have to live with any possible consequences.romocop33
Thats false. If you try to commit anything you want, society will attempt to stop you before you even do the action. You are not free to try to steal a purse infront of a police officer, he will try to stop you so in a sense you are not free.

sure you are. you are free to try anything you want, but like i said before, you have to deal with the consequences, such as a police officer beating your ass.

precisely why it is wrongRemember North America? Not the one we have today, but the one hundreds of years ago. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't the Native Americans much better off with no government?Factor-Zer0are you asking if Native Americans were better off before they all got killed?
No, there is no such thing as true freedom outside of being a criminal.
We have freedom within limits.
I see freedom as generally doing what I want such as what religion I follow, what clothes I can wear, what music I listen to, games I play, movies I watch, friends I have, the ability to speak my mind without infringing upon someone elses well being.
I don't believe freedom gives you the right to kill or murder or steal or basically harm another. As reprehensible as it sounds, I don't care if someone wants to do as much drugs as they want until their brain falls out or if they have unprotected sex or whatever, so long as they don't harm another doing it.
That I wh I said criminals are in the sense those with the most freedom... until they are punished for their deeds which are infringements upon other's wellbeing/property or in general... freedom again.
So yes, in some manner "True freedom" does exist, but I don't believe in it ethically or morally.
Ohh freedom. Funny.
Communism: SOmeone has to rule, humans are bastards. They will take all the money. Everyone exept 1-15 has almost nothing.
Capitlism: Creats winners and losers. More losers than winners, once again humans are basterds and will letthe losers suffer.
There are verying degrees but in essence that is it.
