Does Wearing a Hat a lot cause Balding?

Ive heard of people who that wear hats, cause them to bald. Is this true? I have been wearing a hat almost for 2 weeks now because its comfortable. My mom scares me by saying if I keep wearing it, ill become bald.

If you wear it all the time, even in your sleep then it wouldn't surprise me if the hidden hair "dies" and falls off.

Its genetics, if your father and grandfather are bald, most likely you will be bald as well... Not cos you were a hat. Lol.
