My parents share one, and yes I have them as a friend. I don't see how it's weird, they're already aware of what I am doing, nothings gonna change if they read about it on facebook.

No, she doesn't even know how to use a computer so. My dad doesn't have a Facebook either. Some of my friends have parents with Facebooks, and they're always commenting on their statuses. Its just awkward.
Thankfully, no. My sister and dad have it though and wished I never added my sister. She goes through ALL my photos and makes comments (to me, not online) and annoys me. She even posts nonsense on my wall but eh, family is family and I gotta put up with the little sister :P
