China devalues their own currency on purpose to gain a competitive edge, so really there is no way

Meh, I trust the Dollar Index (DXY) on the stock exchange more than I would a YouTube video.

DXY is currently at 81.26 which is quite decent.

Hmmm, a Youtube video? That's great evidence. As has been said, China's currency is devalued and there is too much control over it. The dollar isn't so weak that it's in too much trouble yet.

Returning to the gold standard is a bad idea. That's why it was abadoned by most countries decades ago.

Then why are they returning to trade in gold and there own currencies. gold standard is not bad they went off of it because the U.S could not back the dollar any longer with gold because we printed too much money and other countries wanted there gold instead of T bills. All those currencies were pegged to the dollar once we went off gold so did there currencies. Now we all have Fiat.

Not gold standard is bad too we can print money from nowhere trillions go missing or go to bail out other people.What do we do we sit around talking about gays while they print and steal our money devaluing the money driving up food and gas prices but gays are more important than the theft of our money. Each monetary system has its flaws. Think about it if we took away everyones income slashed all of the military taxed all of our businesses a hundred percent took away all of our entitlement programs we still would not make it through the year without borrowing. We borrow half of every damn dollar this is excceptable this is sustainable I think not.

It's going to be very interesting to see what happens to the US economy in the next few years.
