I have a question, why is that Frank the bunny apologises to Donnie Darko in the movie theater. Also, at the end, it seems as if several of the people remembered what happened from the tangent universe. For example Frank touches his right eye and examines it for wounds, and Gretchen waving to Rosie Darko. CrackThaRipperGretchen says she doesn't know who Donnie is.... And Frank apologizes because he knew what was going to happen.....
Yeah, I love the movie. And when it all comes together at the end. When all the characters are giving little hints of remembering there time in the Tangent universe. And how the mother seems to be more Proud/Angry then anything.that doesnt answer either of my questions at all, I thought you fully understood the movie, you dont even understand my questions.

If I remember correctly, they don't show her in that montage with the people who seem to know about the tangent universe....

They are just latent memories - she feels some sort of distant connection but does not know why now that the world has been put right again. Ditto with Frank touching his eye. As for Frank in the movie theatre that is the *dead* Frank (referred to as the "manipulated dead" in Roberta Sparrow's Philosophy of Time Travel) which we know when he takes off the head to reveal his eye with the gunshot wound. He therefore has full knowledge of everything that will happen in the tangent universe and is apologising for the car accident that is to come.

Man theres so much to figure out in this film! I LOVE IT, I own the Directors Cut and saw it3 times in two weeks and still never get tired of it. Probably my favourite movie of all time

It's a cool movie.
BUT.
It completely falls apart when you think about it too much. Even watching the director's commentary is a waste because his own explanation is pretty lame - it's almost as if he has no idea why his movie is good. The only reason he doesn't sink it himself is because he has enough sense to leave things vague.
Once you start taking it too seriously, though, the movie becomes far less interesting. The way everything ties together is only neat on the surface.
The film definitely works better when vague (one reason I prefer the theatrical cut to the Director's Cut as it leaves more ambiguity such as to Donnie's mental state - knowing he's only been taking placebos and his therapist doesn't think he's crazy was unnecessary info). Most of it does tie together in a general sense once you read The Philosophy of Time Travel although some of it clearly isn't evident in the film. Kelly explained in an interview that Donnie actually has telekinetic powers and so he tore the jet engine off the plane himself to provide the metal to travel back in time. Ever meet anyone who got that from the film? It's a cool movie.

Quick Question for those who get it all.
First, what was the insurance trap, I understood the concept, but I don't know what it exactly was.
Second, how much did the people remember at the end, did they know about what happened, or did it just seem like a bad dream to them?
By the way, I've seen this movie tens of times, so I am not new to these concepts.
Well to answer your first question it is said in the Philosiphy Of Time Travel, that people returning from the Tangent Universe as Minipulated dead may remember much of what occured. They may beleave it or take it as a horrible dream, the jogger is a Agent investingating Donnie (for those who asked) and im not sure about the insurance trap Money From Death = MurderQuick Question for those who get it all.
