just happened to me the other day I drove home from Michgan abot 21/2 hr drive started at 4am got to Mcdonalds ordered a suasage egg mcmuffin and a hashbrown. Did not check well because I thought competent people would be able to ge it right well since its really just one thing. I get Home and they forgot the egg. So I was pissed went back and said I want another hashbrown for my troubles and they gave it to me.

People actually leave fast food places without first making sure the order was completed correctly? If you are assuming they got it right you are doing it backwards.
Look in the bag before you leave? I have always done that, never had an issue. It's human error and all you need to do is double check that you were handed the correct bag. It's your own fault you didn't peek inside until you got all the way home.
Fast food 'restaurants', specifically McDonald's, should be banned, I remember them getting orders wrong 85%+ of the time, how hard is it to have NO ONIONS on a hamburger? That and the abysmal 'quality' of the 'food' which smelled like cigarettes... Anyway, always check your order.

The problem with being fussy is that the no onions is made up with extra phlegm. Safer to remove the unwanted bits yourself.

It's impossible to manually remove those tiny shreds of onions! /rage. I just don't ever eat at that filthy non-English speaking cesspool anymore.

If you check it every time, and the bag always has what you ordered, congratulations, you are the first person that's ever happened to. Now, you have been screwed over like the rest of us. Sorry, dude. I had to stop going to a Del Taco because they were wrong EVERY TIME I ordered something. I attribute it to the Vegas school systems being garbage and the zombies working drive-thru at 3am are all probably high as hell.

No because that never happens to me. Why....because I check my food before leaving.
