Like im watching TV and then my goose of a sister blast music to the max! and its like nearly 4am and shes getting ready for school. My rents has gone to work, and i don't have to leave until another 3 hours. so i thought i'll enjoy myself on the laptop and tv. But i can't cause i have to listen to her piffle music.

If my sister ever did that I'd beat the crap out of her. Fortunately me and my family get along quite well and don't do stupid things like that. If my dad blasts his music, I'll put my headphones on and play games or listen to music. Simple solution.

Living on your own is a wonderful thing.

Not really. Whatever my family wants is reasonable and they don't bother me frequently.

Now, my roommate on the other hand...leaves the door open while I'm changing/working, leaves her crap all over the floor, doesn't understand that I don't want to listen to her 10 minute stories while I'm doing an assignment, locks me out when I'm in the shower, makes fun of my beliefs, doesn't accept that she can be wrong (because apparently wikipedia makes her an expert) and makes me go downtown with her even if I don't have to.

I like her and all, but we are not compatible roommates. She doesn't leave our room except to go to class, so dealing with that all the time is just frustrating. I can't wait until I get a single room next year.

My family could all be a bunch of deadbeat parents/drug addicts, so it could be a lot worse
