Sometimes I really wish that there was no sex scene/jokes/nudity in movies!

So I was watching a movie with part of my family, lights all off, all of us focused on the movie, which was starting to get good, and a dirty sex scene came on, no kissing, just humping and stuff.....

It was one of the most awkward experiences evverr! I didn't know if I should look away or just keep staring, or say something

There was also a time when this sexually explicit joke was being told, I couldn't help but laugh and that was so embarresing because I didn't want them to know that I knew what that was ya know

I remember back when I was 12 and watched 'Poison Ivy' with my grandma, neither of us knowing it was an Erotic film... It was quite a good film actually... didn't get all the way to the end though, half way through my grandma realised 'that film wasn't for me'.

It can be awkward sometimes; in movies I'd seen previously, I'd often go and get a drink just before scenes which were embarassing to watch with family, and conveniently slip back into my seat after it was over. These days it's nowhere near as bad; my brother is now 12, so he doesn't ask that awful question.. "mum, what are the man and the lady doing?".

Its more awkward when im watching a movie with my much younger sister; its not just the sex scene, its also the language they use and it always concludes in my sister asking "what does [explicit/sexual word] mean.

Yeh, that 300 sex scene was cringeful, it was almost as if it was straight out from a cheap bad porno, was embarassing because I took my dad to watch the film since I promised him it would be a manly film with warriors slaying and brutally mutiliating each other for the gods and for power.

I don't really watch movies with my parents. Also I'm 18 so I'm not restricted to what I can watch. If you want akward, try catching your dad when he is watching pornography on the vcr/internet like me.

I try to avoid rated R movies with my family. When I saw 300 in theaters, me and my friends were sitting next to a guy and his (around 10-year-old) son. During the sex scene, he covered his sons eyes, then told us to close our eyes. It wasn't awkward until that point.

OMG, yes I hate that! Its so awkward! I remember this one time, I was watching The Butterfly Effect with my mom and dad, and there was so much sex in that movie! I was really emberassed because I was the one who suggested we all watch it and I put it on, not knowing all the sex it had. I remember this one scene where they were having sex and the girl was saying how good it was and that she had "multiple orgasms". Talk about awkward.
