Don't you hate when you created a topic no one replies?

Just created one half hour ago and no one replied. I feel awkward.

there, I replied. But yeah, seems pointless or like your topic just isn't interesting to anyone :(

We tend to associate just about any external occurrence with 'me',

which usually leads to a lot of stress. You should consider two things: "Is the topic really of interest to

the demographic?" 2. The creation of that topic is history. Move on

and make another topic dealing with a more captivating issue, for instance.

Its a good idea to begin with your own thoughts on the matter and allow

others to go from there.

Not really, I create plenty of topics in FAU that gets very little recognition. I think the last one was about Oshimia's birthday...Jazz_Fan

If you want immediate responses go to a chat room. Or do what the rest of the usersdo... bait everyone with astupid question or by attacking the bandwagon.

The great thing about contrast/opposing forces though is the intensity of each one. You can have

Just make a topic about system wars or MW2 and you will get a reply. Its like crack cocaine for dummies so they just can't resist.

Ive had it happen to me on occassion but it's no big deal.

I wouldn't know. I've created exactly 3 topics in my time here, and all of them received replies. If I put a lot of effort into something and no one replied, it would probably be annoying. But if I just slapped something down in a few seconds, obviously I wouldn't care if anyone replied or not.
