Sure did.it happens nearly every time you get a bag of chips. I've learned to just suck it up and get two bags. Though there was a time rather recently where I got a bag that was nearly full to the brim. Oh what a glorious day that was.
I did in the beginning, but now I am used to seeing only a fourth of the bag filled with chips.
I bet we will have to pay $1 for each chip in the future!
they want you to buy the huge family bags... which aren't really for families... more like two people, or one if you eat chips like I do.
[QUOTE="XilePrincess"]Every bag of chips is pretty much half a bag now. You pay for half a bag of chips and half a bag of air.SaudiFuryhalf a bag of air is totally worth it though. It is! Without that Air, your chips would be dust. unless they're in a pringles can :P

yeah that's why I love pringles - they're always stacked to the top...
don't think that's happened to me with chips, but I can somewhat sympathize, fast food restaurants sometimes half fill their fries, they also try to make it look full by not unfolding the box all the way so the walls of the fry box press together, so not only do I feel cheated but it feels deliberatelamprey263
I hate that thing that they do with the ice. You know...when you take about 5 sips of the drink and then find out that you're sucking air. Lift up the lid, and they filled the entire cup with ****ing ice.
I cannot drink ICE. Now I have nothing to drink with my meal. THANKS A LOT!
Whenever I buy Lay's and get unlucky to find out that the number of chips in the case was less than the previous one I bought, I go bonkers. One potato chip means a lot you know!:x:P

That's why I always specifically state that I don't want ice.
I got a frog in my canonigos bagHe looks delicious anyway i really hate it whenever i open a bag of chips it only has half Chips and half Air, it really grinds my gears :P

most chip bags are like this because they need a large volume of air to prevent the bags from collapsing down and breaking the chips...do you want a bag half full of intact chips, or do you want a full bag (at double the cost) full of ground up chips?
there is nothing sinister about it, its entirely legic and practical.
well i want a 85% Chips and 15% Air instead of 50% Chips and 50% Airmost chip bags are like this because they need a large volume of air to prevent the bags from collapsing down and breaking the chips...do you want a bag half full of intact chips, or do you want a full bag (at double the cost) full of ground up chips?

Some fill space is required, but I guarantee that companies use more fill space than they need.

As long as they have the amount of chips (in weight) specified by the bag inside the bag it's perfectly legal. You get what you paid for essentially.[QUOTE="MrGeezer"]

Just get tortilla chips instead, they generally fill the bags up a lot more since those chips seem to be pretty sttrong
