I remember really liking Reign of Fire back in 2002, that was a cool movie. Otherwise... ?
I've been wondering for a while now how popular dragons are with audiences from around the globe.

Yeah, that would have been the answer I would have defaulted to myself.Dragon Heart was decent. Sean Connery was the voice of the dragon so it's hard to go wrong.

Dragonheart was a absolute beast movie. Kevin Costner, Sean Connery, Pete Postlethwaite etc etc. Epic.
[QUOTE="Ontain"]DragonHeart was pretty good. from 96.surrealnumber5it has not aged well, but i loved it back when. yep agreed I loved it back then, but saw it some years later and died a little on the inside. Even though it's not live action I agree with the guy who said How to Train Your Dragon. That was an excellent film.

But they're kid's books, so I probably won't read them until I have kids of my own. That aside, the film was great and it teared me up. (let's look past the fact I was watching it at 3 am and I was depressed then)

 Kevin Costner wasn't in Dragonheat, are you mad? It was Dennis Quaid.
Edit: It's a great film though, I tend to cry when I watch it, he's the last dragon

Unless you see the horrendous sequel!Unless you see the horrendous sequel!TheokhothThat's a pleasure I'm pleased to say I've managed to avoid so far.
I still look back fondly on early 80's fantasy flick Dragonslayer. The effects were really not that bad for the time and budget, and it totally felt like a D&D campaign brought to life. Your enjoyment of the movie would probably depend on whether that description fills you with delight or revulsion.xaos
That movie is one of the true fantasy movies of motion picture.. Its right up there with Conan The Barbarian of classic fantasy movies.. Make it even more startling, the special effects.. Especially with the dragon, look extremely good even by today's standards..
Dragon Wars, crappy south korean movie.... but if you like dragon movies, you already have pretty crappy taste in cinema.
There is one hilarious scene of an old lady trying to walk through a fence though.

oh it got me real good too... thats why its the only scene of the entire movie i remember. Its even funnier when you are watching a godawful movie and dont expect anything even remotely redeeming to happen.
