Well the dumbest I've watched so far was Knowing and The Mist. I got so disappointed I never watched HBO for a week after I watched it.RizeleaThe Mist, really? That's one of my favorite movies, the ending was shocking to say the least. Knowing just fell apart at the end, it was a great movie until half way through.
Inception I'll tell you why. The stupid van took forever to fall into the water. That scene was horrible, the movie was horrible, the ending was horrible.
to many to name.....i like clerks 2 take on how crappy the end of lord of the rings waskbpyrokb
Mallrats, Clerks, and Clerks 2. Most epic movies ever. Who cares about Dogma?
The Decent 2 ending was crap along with the rest of the film, I did not expect anything else from the ending after what it put me through getting to it, although The Decent is listed in my favorite movies the sequal was terrible. I can't' be bothered to go into details.
So... would I get hated on for saying Taxi Driver had a crappy ending...meconateis that the one with jimmy fallon and that fat black lady who is really loud
I think the ending to Cloverfield was both stupid and awesome.
Heres why:
Stupid in the case that I didn't want the characters to die, they were so damn close to escaping, and that it ended so abruptly. Awesome in the sense that we finall saw a good close-up of the monster, a hint of what awakened the monster, the post credits "It's Still Alive" audio, and the whole" I had a good day" part.
Honestly, I thought the movie was alright. Considering the usual quality of horror sequels the movie could have been ALOT worse. The ending really ruined it though. Like how stupid can an ending get? And to make it worse, that wasn't the original ending. I read on IMDB that the original script had quite a few differences in general including a different ending. It would have ended the way I had expected it to end, but even that would be slightly better and the other changes in the movie would definitely have made it a better movie. The Decent 2 ending was crap along with the rest of the film, I did not expect anything else from the ending after what it put me through getting to it, although The Decent is listed in my favorite movies the sequal was terrible. the mist was absolutely dreadful, don't know how anyone could honestly enjoy sitting through that film. the ending was just the cherry topping to that **** cake.

It's just an opinion.
How was Taken's ending dumb? The way he killed the guy holding his daughter was so generic. A gun shot wound to the head. Generic ending is generic.mrmusicman247
- Mission Impossible 3
- THHE2
- Taken
DroidPhysXI thought it was great. In most situations like that, there's a conversation among the hero and the villain and some long drawn out fight. In Taken, he doesn't even give the guy a chance to think. Quick and clean. Which made it more realistic.
Salt, and it's not even close. The movie was better than I expected, but the ending felt like it was an editor trying to troll
/thread To quote the great Roger Ebert: "That film has a plot hole that is not only large enough to drive a truck through, but in fact does have a truck driven right through it."High Tension.

Boondock Saints. That courtroom ending was so overdone, cliched and cheesy it almost killed what was otherwise a great film.

Eden Lake also has a terrible ending.sammyjenkis898
Eden Lake ending was not surprising, it kept with the mood and feel of the whole film. I was impressed with that movie, gave a real bleak outlook on rural tourist areas and it's set in a place very much like where I live, except the people are not all as unneccesarily hostile.
There was only one annoying point in that movie for me, the bit where they get into the car, they pretty much got away, they are home dry but for some reason the guy wants to drive through the woods at 50mph in an obvious attempt to crash and string out the chase.
As I said I did like the bleak mood that movie conjured up.
grrrr i dont even like thinking about that stupid movieOh and The Village, I think pretty much everyone knows so no need to explain.

Why did you have to go and say that, now how we suppose to continue with this thread.
as mentioned before, i found the end to the mist exceptionaly bad, that movie had such a great build up and then the end happened, also i was dissapointed with the way that law abiding citizen ended, that movie was so good but the ending seemed so out of place when compared to the rest of the movie

Eden Lake was worse than any horror movie I've ever seen, mainly because I live in the UK and it could happen to anyone. It's such a disturbing movie and it still haunts me.
to many to name.....i like clerks 2 take on how crappy the end of lord of the rings wasgcfreak898

Ugh, I hate Dogma. My favorite is a tie between Clerks and Mallrats. On the topic: Legion has a stupid generic ending. Please Log In to post.
