Krispy Kreme without a doubt. Every Dunkin Donuts I've been to looks disgusting inside (with a few exceptions). Also their donuts are always dry compared to Krispy Kreme.

I will take the Doughnut shop on the corner three blocks away owned by a nice Filipino family over both of those. Two glazed buttermilk doughnuts and their Thai iced tea = epic breakfast.

but Dunkin Donuts of I had to choose.

I love fresh/warm krispy kreme donuts. They are sooo good. Sooooo bad for you, but that's the only thing I will willingly become obese to eat.

Exactly, but places that make good donuts are disappearing. So we're left with chips ahoy of donuts. It would be like asking who makes the best cookies "Chips Ahoy or some other crappy equivalent. Obviously fresh baked cookies are 100X time better.

But I guess when People never had good cookies, cakes or donuts they don't know anything other than the the vague imitations, the compromises.

Based purely on the donut, Krispy Kreme. I do like a lot of Dunkin Donuts' breakfast items though.

Dunkin Donuts coffees/lattes ALONE are better than anything in an entire Krisy Kreme Store.

Add the donuts, bagels, pretzel twists and brekfast foods, and it's no freakign contest.

I don't eat doughnuts a lot anymore but I used to hit up the Kripsy Kreme in Indianapolis at like 1-2am and they were making the glazed doughnuts to sell in the morning. Oh man does that smell great and just watching the entire process from dough to golden brown and glazed goodness was delicious. Dunkin Donuts I'll eat but I consider them just like grocery store doughnuts.

Looks yummy.

Unfortunately I have no clue which one is better, seeing as we don't have those shops here in England.

I like Crullers the best, i'm in Scotland so we don't have Dunkin Donuts or KK so all I can say is that I like Crullers and ASDA sometimes sells them.

It depends on the type of doughnut I have a taste for, but usually for the most part I prefer Dunkin Doughnuts over Krispy Kreme.

Overall however, I think I prefer the panederia that's just a few blocks away.

Both. Dunkin has a really cool variety of flavors, and holiday/seasonal fun doughnuts. I think they are pretty good, as well. Kripsy is really good too.. but I can get good glazed doughnuts almost anywhere, so why bother.

When you grow up on local shops, you learn to not enjoy the national brands as much.

Oram's

bigger-is-better.jpg

This is one of their smaller donuts, and it's 50 cents for one.

These are pumpkin donuts they sell during the holidays. You know how Dunkin Donut's have that over-the-top sweet taste? These just taste like donut, pure bliss.

1341688063.jpg

These are their blueberry sticks. I just had some about 4 hours ago. That slightly crunchy glaze and the sweet frosting really make the donut perfect.

It's like I said, once you've had a local specialty, it's hard to enjoy a national brand as much.

Ewww no, they are even sweeter that Krispy Kreme with even less flavour (not couting sugar). The only good thing is their Honey Cruller. Not counting US brands the best Canadian brand donuts are oddly Coffee Time.

(I haven't had Krispy Kreme to compare though)
