I've actually seen the story on the FOX news channel. They interviewed some game magazine guy or something and he made all the same arguments that this article did. It was pissing me off because the anchorman and anchorwoman had NO idea what they were talking about, and thought Mass Effect was the most disgusting game ever.
It's good that they've addressed them, but they should have just flat out issued a lawsuit, because this is preposterious, and media outlets need to take more responsiblity for what they say.JustPlainLucas
I agree
Fair and Balanced.
"This video game has sexual refernces which are probably relatively mild compared to the modern prime time television landscape. For shame. Also, there are reports that this game has ties to Al Qaeda and Kim Jong-il. Therefore, it's high time we invaded Cuba."
I'm also tired of all of the morons that cannot wrap their mind around the concept that video games are not just made with a kid audience in mind. Hell, they probably think all cartoons are automatically for kids too.
Speaking of that, did Fox News complain when The Simpsons Movie showed a brief scene of frontal nudity? Wahhh. (Actually, I wouldn't be entirely surprised if they did...)I'm also tired of all of the morons that cannot wrap their mind around the concept that video games are not just made with a kid audience in mind. If they would, if they could but they can't due to the fact that The Simpsons is under 20th century Fox. So they would be bad mouthing their own. They're a bunch of Hypocrits. I bet if a game that belonged to Fox had mature scenes, they wouldn't be saying anything bad about it.

Why do you think I used that example? They did wag the finger about the now defunct O.J. book though, which was to be published by a division of News Corporation, which owns Fox News.

I think EA is taking the high route about this. If they don't get the apology they deserve, it wouldn't suprise me if they decide to go ahead and take legal action.

I would be very happy if they did that
I hope EA hits FOX good and hard.
I would demand that each one of them be fired, I mean who the hell do they think they are even to talk about games...They have a so-called "debate" where its the FOX anchor and the ***** with the book, against the guy from Spike TV.
Then when the anchor sees that she's losing the fight abit, they end it and then they go over to this "table of idiots". I mean if you listen to them all carefully, they sound like they just fell into the modern world and can't understand modern values. They talk about the "olden days" and put down the game some more...
I mean none of them had any right to talk about this game like that, especially since none of them had played it.DJ-PRIME90
I also find it funny when they said being a parent now is hard, I mean weren't being a parent suppose to be hard?
Fox News is wrong, but I love how nobody does this when it comes to CNN. They EDITED AN INTERVIEW with John Cena to prove their point.
Thats even worse in my opinion. And yet nobody says a thing.
I'd like to see EA sue them for defamation or something (I have no idea if that's legally possible, lol). Elraptor
I would so love it if Fox finally got hit with a defamation suit. I think they get around it a lot of time though by having someone who is not part of their station get on there and say something that is not entirely true instead of them saying it themselves.

And I suppose you know that because "nobody does this when it comes to CNN," am I right?
thank god im 22 and my parents basically don't have a say on what i do and don't buy,
fox news is probably the worst news channel out there...jesus, and what got even more mad was the fact that the guy with the glasses said. comparing it playboy meets star wars
