Earliest Registered User?

I was always wondering who's the oldest registed user on GS (since they began tracking in 2002 I believe).

May 7, 2002 here, anyone registered earlier that this?

JSD - May 2, 2002 GS System Administrator since 1996

Rest of the accounts were created starting May 3rd, 2002 starting with GS editorial staff.

Looks like open registration began on May 7, 2002.

We should get an emblem on May 7 2012 for being with GS for 10 years.

Pretty sure Ice_Radon was the first imported user. They actually made an emblem for it i think.

Because we needed a test subject. Ice_Radon is a longtime user of our community services, and, much like the Six Million Dollar Man, became the unwitting subject of an experiment. Gamespot has its ups and downs (aka Giantbomb), so it does not warrant my undewided attention at all times, but I found that I keep coming back to it on daily basis for game news.

To answer my own question (in part).

Looks like you're right, JSD is in fact the oldest registered user: May 2, 2002, followed by Jeff (Jeff Gerstmann I assume) & GregK (Greg Kasavin I assume)- May 3, 2002, followed by Amer (Amer Ajami I assume) - May 4, 2002. It seems registration restarted on May 7 for the rest of users, of which I am part.

Wow. Just... wow.

I have been here since ocotber 15th 2004, Im not the oldest of members but I will be in the top 25% most likely. I rarely post these days, just check system wars every now and again for some game gossip.

I've seen a May 4, 2002. I don't think you can find anyone with a older registered account. I myself have a account from 2003, don't use it anymore.2ndWonder
