hey guys, of those of you that use ebay, do any of you know why there's always some idiot trying to sell things for WAY too much? sometimes I do a search for a game on ebay or amazon and I come up with a few good sellers, but then theres always 1 or 2 people who are out of their minds. They want like $100 for something that's normally listed for $10 or they put like $20 for the opening bid, when it costs $20 brand new. if something gets no bids, does it just start up again a few days later automatically? seems pointless to try to sell something online for WAY more than people are willing to pay. ya know what i mean?

Perhaps they are a bit eager when pressing "0"
So if they want to sell a game for 10 $ they press on extra 0 :)

It never bugs me when people sell things for way more than they're worth, sometimes the demand is high enough that they can sell it, it's the people who put excessive shipping. $16 for ONE pillowcase. Not including pillow. Just a plain pillow case. I reported that guy like 8 times and they still let him put that much for shipping.

It does make me laugh, but the funny thing is people will actually pay for it becaue they're too lazy to check around some more...

I remember back to the PS2 launch and people here and other places were pissed becuase they were ordering a PS2 box and not the system.

Paying attention FTW.

Yeah I know. I've seen people selling CD's for $30 when there were other listings 10-15$

It's no good man, don't go anywhere near those listings.

I always see that too. Like the other day I saw someone selling a Kinect for $250, even though it retails for $150, and it sells for about $100 on average on eBay. It's not like the Kinect is hard to come by either.

I have a feeling that some people either the buyer or seller don't understand money......like at all.

It annoys me when sellers try to shift some of the actual item cost to the shipping because it means you get less Ebay bucks. I won an auction last week for $0.99 with $39.99 shipping. :|

I saw a guy on Amazon trying to sell a used Gameboy Advance SP for over $500. The other stores were selling them for about $40.

I saw something like that the other day too. I think it was a video game. The price of the game was $20 and the shipping was $90.

The only thing that annoys me about ebay are the ppl who list things in catagories that they shouldn't be in. When you browse say the section for ps3 game consoles, up comes 1000+ listings for ps3 controllers, cords, console covers, games, and other random accessories that the seller could have put in the correct catagory but put there to have extra advertisement. The outrangous shipping prices don't bother me at all anymore cause you can include the shipping costs in the search now.

I also hate when someone lists a used item under brand new. eBay needs to crack down on those types of listings.

It doesn't bother me that people ask that much for an item, no one has to buy it if they don't want to and most of the time no one does.

As others have stated though, what annoys me is those who charge rediculous shipping charges or over exagerate the quality of their product. Its part of the reason why I pretty much never buy from individual sellers anymore only ebay stores or at the very least power sellers.
