I don't read novels. I only read "Protagonist" and "Antagonist"

I'd read it as long as it's not about any of the game's storylines. If it were about the past in Tamriel, that would be awesome.

No, b/c it would be one of those cheesy "Make your own adventure" things.

It would be terrible. Have you read the books they have in-game? Fan-fic writers could do better.

im planning of writing an elder scrolls novel these days, starting from ELDER SCROLLS 1: ARENA to the latest elder scrolls game, where I'll describe the whole (or at least the most) history of tamriel and the legends myths stories and so on mentioned in these games... ill write in not in the choose your adventure style, but simply in the fashion of following the main quest. and somewhere ill add the side quest

There was one book in that game that was good, though. The vampire hunter one... Immortal Blood I think it was called. On the topic though, I think the games are good enough. Its one of my favourite series', so I wouldn't want to risk ruining it by novels being published.

They could follow the main quest but they'ld have to contain a large amount of content that isn't in the games. The Dawn OF WAr games are based on books after all but the warhammer books go into much more detail and tend to have a couple of side stories running parralell to the main story
