EmO WhY?

i don't get it either. back in the day we had goths, who were gloomy and downtrodden. but they didn't cut themselves and cry over stupid stuff. btw, emo music.... terrible, i can't stand that nasally singing and all the emo bands sound virtually identical. i can't tell any of them apart.

The world DOES suck and people ARE stupid but I'm not emo.

emotional differenceses in people is all not all people take the same amount of time to "get all better" some people need more time then others, the thought that we all greve at the same pace is just dumb. Also some "real" emo's are emotionally unbalanced and need seriouse help, medication, couceling so forth and to just say hey get over it is just insensitive and silly.

Something tells me no one will repsond to this because it makes avalid point. (but ofcourse now someone will have to prove me wrong)

Lots of them are whiny babies because of something tragic in their life. THey need to learn to get the **** over it though.

I agree with the first part, but not really with the second.

Also cutting is a prominantly female form of emotional disturbance, males tend to lean towards burning themselves.

well I plan on being a child psychologist so I have to be aware of these things, but in a way it is common sense...I would think.
