Im talking about football (soccer)

England vs USA tomorrow at 8pm GMT time, Wembley stadium.

Who do you think will win?

Im fortunate enough to have club wembley tickets to go see the game, i hope England win, it's a shame they didn't make it into the euro.

On the other hand, it would be good to see USA win as it will be a big achievement for them, especially to beat England xD

Terry will slip when he's just about to clear it and Fulham will score a last minute goal. On paper it's a mis-match, but you never know with England. Maybe we can finally see some good football now the pressure is off.

The english premier league is absolutely amazing right now. Two teams making it to the Champions League final says it all. But the England national team is absolutely terrible. Mostly because all of the players are much more interested in playing for their clubs and clearly just cant be bothered with international football at all.

It honestly wouldn't surpise me if USA won.

I live in the US, and like most people here I know next to nothing about Soccer/Football, but seeing as it immensly popular in the UK (England specifically, do people born in Wales, Scotland, or N Ireland get to play on your team?) and the rest of Europe and great stress is put on developing good players (much like the focus for kids here is to become good baseball, [american] football, or basketball players) I can't see how the US team would win short of a fluke.... then again I don't know anything about the event. For all I know it's just a meaningless exhibition match and the good England players would rather just sit at home and watch TV.

Most of England's top dogs Rooney, Ferdinand, Hargreaves, Carrick, Lampard, Terry, Joe Cole, Ashley Cole, were all playing in the CL final. They clearly have potential when surrounded by foreign players, but they don't be able to gel as a team on their own.

I'm American and don't know **** about the American soccer team. Landon donovon and freddy adu are the only players i've ever heard of. I don't even know if landon donovon still plays lol. Soccer just isn't a big American sport.. so I'm guessing England should probably win.

But who knows. the USA has a chance.. soccer is a really low scoring sport, so luck can happen easily. But I'd still expect England to win.

I voted England, because Americans really dont care about soccer and it shows with our pittiful soccer players.

That was an assumption that we have bad players, but its probably true.

That's not true. The US definitely has good players. We are ranked (I believe) 21st in the Fifa rankings. We're not up there with Italy or Brazil, but we're better than a lot of nations.

Having said that, England shouldn't have much trouble beating us, but you never know.

Its pretty OBVIOUS England is gonna win, the only good player I would consider good in the American team isDonavonwhere England has plenty of talented players. But theyhaven'tbeen playing really good at the moment, so there might be hope for the Americans
