My English teacher gives a free A for perfect attendance. No final exam required!
My suggestion is you find a teacher like her.

Your teacher sounds abhorrently negligent.
There's the theme of power, Both Big Brother and Macbeth wants to keep theirs or gain more. And there's also the fear of betrayal, traitors or uprisings in both stories. That are some ideas you could discuss.

our teacher said its going to be based mostly around winston and macbeth and also could ambition fall unto this? macbeth had ambition to become king and winston had ambition to stop the party. oh yeah! i forgot something improtant he also said that its going to be a comparission between a tragic hero(macbeth) and an anti-hero (winston).

Nah. She gives a lot of homework, and you have to turn it all in. But if you do, and don't miss a day of cIass, you're exempt from the final exam.
Miss a day of cIass, and you're screwed.

Their strong wills are very comparable. They both have ambition and determination but their goals are pretty much absolute opposites. It's like they're waring against each others ideals. The comparison between a tragic hero and a anti-hero feels more complicated, Winston's fate was pretty tragic too... and Macbeth's aspiration to conquer humanity isn't fully praise worthy. Sorry, I don't know how to compare the two. I suggest you try to read up on the definitions of what an anti-hero and a tragic hero is.

thanks for basing my "outlook" on a word that i spelled incorrectly because i was in a rush. now can someone help me. and navigata you pretty much proven your point when you spelled "comprassion" wrong. bro.
That's a tough one. I would consider Winston an anti-hero as well as a tragic hero.
The Winston we knew pretty much died at the end of that book and was replaced by just a shell of his former self
