Also, Catholic priests aren't allowed to marry. The thing about Catholic priests and marriage is a little more complicated. It is a matter of Ecclesiastical Discipline rather than dogma (the Church can change discipline, but not morals and dogma. Essentially the Church has a mix of man-made and God-given traditions). Anyway yes Priests (and deacons also) can't marry post-ordination. However married men may become priests in the eastern rites, but in the Latin rite only celibates can become priests with a few exceptions (such as the personal ordinariates established by Pope Benedict XVI in Anglicanorum Coetibus). However a married man may not become a bishop in any rite, be they Latin or Eastern. Also the Orthodox Church and the Coptic Church do not allow for married bishops (though the Coptic church requires priests to be married, monks are required to be celibate and monks are the ones who become bishops).

I don't really like the Sith Lords' choice of company but hey, whatever works for them I guess. :P
Anyways, it's good to see people getting more open-minded about homosexual marriage and I am happy for the two married women.

Why would he? :s
1. Gay marriage 2. Female priests 3. Priests getting married 4. Bishop blessing this gay marriage of two female priests . . .Is all against Roman Catholic tradition. :P Hell, even the Anglicans are having a tough time with it.[QUOTE="Espada12"][QUOTE="F1_2004"]lol the Pope just had a heart attack.Theokhoth

Is gay marriage a sin in traditional Anglican scripture?

That's being fought on right now. Many Anglicans say gay marriage is fine, and many say no, it's not fine. It's actually causing a huge schism (that and the election of gay bishops, which is officially) in the church right now. The official position of the Episcopal church is that homosexuals should be given the same civil rights as heterosexuals; the issue comes in with the blessing of gay marriages.Well Quakers, United Methodists, and Episcopalians are generally the most accepting to homosexuals when it comes to Christian denominations.

Of course. It's a perfect opportunity for him to preach about gay marriage ripping and tearing apart the very foundations of society which keep it weakly standing above complete anarchy. Or something like that.
