Escalators... Yay or Nay?

Nay, there scary...

Nay going up, yay going down. Oh and nay to getting stuck/sucked into the cracks and mangled.

My mom is terrified of them :D

If an escalator is in my way I will use it, but I will walk upwards briskly in triumphant defiance of the contraption's automated soul. That is of course unless there's a "double-wide" standing in my way.

Nay, I prefer the stairs...

I like escalators.:D I rarely get a chance to use them.:(

I like them especially in airports and when I'm carrying many items.

My Mom always told me they'd eat me if I went on them when I was little. So I don't really like them. :(

Better than stairs. As long as I just stay still, I can still get to where I'm going.

Yay. I use it and walk at the same time so it's twice as fast as stairs.:)

Escalators are cool, it's just that most people use them wrong.

You aren't supposed to stand there and let them take you up. You're supposed to walk up, so that you get there FASTER.

Anyone ever read Preacher? Every time I get stuck behind someone standing still on an escalator, I feel like Herr Starr standing behind the old lady on the moving walkway.

Seriously. Can you walk up stairs? If you can't walk up stairs, then there's a ****ing elevator. Use it. And if you CAN walk up stairs, then walk up the ****ing moving stairs so that you get to the top faster than if the stairs weren't moving.
