http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2012/10/07/972301/gingrich-concedes-romney-misled-about-his-tax-plan-during-debates/ Do you think the waves of Republicans against Romney ensure that President Obama gets reelected. I think we can only hope that President Obama is reelected for the future and safety of our Republic. If Mitt Romney is elected I think I am going to soil my pants and move to Canada... Mitt Romney is for corporate personhood.

Do you even know of what President Obama has accomplished... You are being very unfair to him, he is not superman but voting in Romney would bring our nation to a collapse.

I don't care what he's accomplished, but rather what he hasn't. Failed to close down Guantanamo bay, ramped up the raids on medical marijuana dispensaries, expanded/extended the patriot act, signed into NDAA, and increased drone attacks.

Shut up, Just shut up... Are you a Paulbot or working for Romney trying to decrease voter turnout. If you are a self respecting liberal and not a whiny 12 year old who did not get exactly what he/she wanted you will vote for President Obama. You are aware Republican congress Prevent alot of what President Obama was going to do. Blame them, not the President. Yeah President Obama did drone strikes because he does not want to use and kill American soldiers but risk a robot's life... Blame the terrorists for being cowards and scum.

If I'm a self-respecting liberal, then I sure as sh*t won't vote for a slightly less right candidate. I'd much rather jack off and have a little something to show at the end of the day.

Congress blocked it, I get that, it just pisses me off that he failed to deliver on a promise. All the others are true.

I get the anger that it's still open, believe me. Just doesn't make a lot of sense to hang it on Obama. The NDAA thing is a manufactured controversy. The other things are totally legitimate.

Even if Obama actually could have stopped it from going through (which he couldn't have, veto proof majority), detainment of civilians is something that we've been dealing with since Milligan, and as recently as Hamdi v. Rumsfeld. The NDAA provision doesn't really change anything.

There are glimmers of hope. The Court has ruled multiple times that any citizen charged with being an illegal enemy combatant has standing to demand that a jury review the legitimacy of that designation. It's by no means a perfect system, but it isn't exactly equivalent to a crazy dystopian totalitarian state like some people think it is.

What's the big deal about Corporate Personhood. According to Wikipedia:

"Corporate personhood is the legal concept that a corporation may sue and be sued in court in the same way as natural persons or unincorporated associations of persons. This doctrine in turn forms the basis for legal recognition that corporations, as groups of people, may hold and exercise certain rights under the common law and the U.S. Constitution. The doctrine does not hold that corporations are "people" in the most common usage of the word, nor does it grant to corporations all of the rights of citizens.

Since at least Trustees of Dartmouth College v. Woodward 17 U.S. 518 (1819), the U.S. Supreme Court has recognized corporations as having the same rights as natural persons to contract and to enforce contracts."

There's nothing radical about corporate personhood, it is a commonly accepted aspect of common law. Corporations comprise and represent the interests of people (i.e. their shareholders, maybe to some extent their employees) and thus are essentially a group of persons.

No. Clinton knew that he actually had to work with the GOP to get things done. He did that very well. Obama is making Jimmy Carter look great.

Clearly you have not been made aware that we are permitted by the Terms of Use to use the word "fvck" now, and if I wasn't so lazy, I'd use ASCII. In continuation: The left is not the party head over heels for Clinton. The centrists (which, by international standards, is centre-right - but everyone already knows this sh!t, so there's no fvcking point even mentioning it) are. Why? Because he was politically closer to them than any other president since Carter. Meanwhile, the leftists are unhappy with both Obama and Clinton. It really is very simple.
