Have you ever saved anyone or done anything heroic? One time there was a girl trapped inside a burning house and I was able to smash the window and get her out. She was nearly bald because the fire had singed all of her hair off, and I think she got cut on the glass on the way out. I waited with her until the ambulance arrived. I was like 13 when it happened.

So, OT ever save anyone or anything like that?

I stopped a football from hitting a girl straight in the face. If it had hit her it likely would've knocked her out and/or broken her nose. That's about it though. :)

Wow TC, I've never done anything like that! My colleague posted this on my Facebook yesterday - "think you were heroic just coming in - lesser mortals wouldn't have" because I went to work with acute torticollis. Just driving there was agony :|

I saw someone getting kicked while they were down so I went over and covered him with my body, but that is about it. This was in middle school, so it wasnt like he was in any real danger :P

I once took a bullet for a girl that I loved. Oh wait, damn it... I was day dreaming. Closest thing to me being a hero would have to be when I saw some younger kids being beat up and I went to help to break it up but ended up getting into a fight with the bullies.

Did the bullet hit you in the head? If yes then you only think it was a dream. Kinda reminded me of the time I shot someone in the head thats why I asked.

When I was really young I stopped a shoplifter by slamming the door in his face. Stunned him long enough for the police to catch up to him.

That's all I got.

I kinda... sorta saved my family from drowning in a huge flood when I wasa little five year old, that is if you count raising the alarm on a doomed sleeping family to be an effort.

Outside of that, I've saved Zelda and rescued the galaxy from the Space Pirates and the Metroids, both numerous times.

Well, some time around last year I gathered a team of highly trained profesionals and daringly took part in a mission that all would claim to be suicidal to save humanity from an unkown threat that was tearing there every planet apart.

Then the credits rolled.

A month ago I caught a big industrial dryer on a corner with one hand to prevent it from falling on a BMW while it was being moved, at the expense of cutting up my arm and almost ****ing upmy back. Not the typical kind of hero, but oh man the hell that'd result from it hitting.

I wouldn't call myself a hero, but the cop (rookie no less) I helped chase down a runner was pretty thankful. Some cat decided to run from the cops and turned into my apartment complex. Instead of turning left at the island, he turned right, into a dead end. He was bailing as the cop rammed his car. The runner ran around my building. If I could have unchained my door, it would have ended sooner, but he was going past as I got the door open. I walked through my apartment and took off after him in my slippers. I chased him down and did a flying tackle and caught him between me and the front apartment building. Needless to say, he gave up. I helped the cops get him cuffed and they walked him to a second cops cruiser (she showed up after the tackle).

The runner should have been ashamed that an out of shape guy twice his age chased him down in slippers. The county recognized me and presented me with a commendation for helping out. A cop acquaintance had to bring it by due to me being out of town on a job the day they were presented. The rookie got razzed by his fellow cops.

He ran due to not having a license. That would have been a ticket, a misdemeanor at best, the cops told me. Instead, he racked up multiple traffic violations including Fleeing and Attempting to Elude Police, and Obstruction of an Officer, all felonies that meant he was going to jail and would stay there until he was able to post bail. That is the one thing I have never understood, why run when most traffic stops only bring a misdemeanor ticket and get a slew of felonies. The reply that I was scared is stupid. They only need to be scared if they have warrants, but then again, if someone has warrants, it's the criminal's own damned fault.

i havent saved anyones life, but i have saved them some money and from being late to school:P

i had just gotten to school, i was in the parking lot. i shut my car door, and started walking to class. i then happened to see someones lanyard(school ID) laying on the ground. i picked it up and looked for the owner. i then get to the school door and see this person talking to a teacher. i happen to hear that he couldnt find his ID. i looked at the id then at the person. it was a match. so i gave him his id and he thanked me alot. felt good:P

reason it was a big deal is that, at the high school, you have to have your ID on you before you enter the building. if you dont, they wont let you go back to your car if you left in your car, they actually make you buy a new student ID which is complete bullcrap. i left my ID in my locker once and they wouldnt let me go to my locker first, i had to buy a new one. i can see where they are coming from with security and all, but thats just ridiculous.

so yea i saved him some money and kept him from being late to class:D

oh yea, i saved my niece from getting hit by a car once. we were walking on the sidewalk and she decides she is going to dash into the street, as a car was coming. i quickly grabbed her and pulled her out of the way.
