I remember one time I had to write an essay about a movie that I picked to see. But I never went go to see it, I just used the internet to find information on it. The outcome was getting an A on the essay and in the class

I did not care about many of the topics I had to write about either supporting or not supporting something . Did good. As for speaking about something I was supposed to be familiar with or have researched , usually did the work.

In 8th grade, my English teacher forced me into an essay writing contest about patriotism.

I completely BS'ed and ended up in 4th place, winning $75.

I've BS'ed a lot of papers. Most of the times I do well but others not so well. The only time I rarely Bs'ed papers was during my Sophomore year.

Yep a lot actually. However, in the last few years of school the teachers see through them really easily.

I had to write a letter to the author who wrote the books we chose (because god forbid those authors have the peace of mind to not read forced papers). I read one chapter of Stardust, looked up the synopsis on Wikipedia, and vaguely complimented his storytelling. What elements of storytelling? No idea. I never actually got any word of how I did with the paper.

I had a geography class where I had to do a project on a country and make a poster for it and everything. It was due in a month, so I started and finished it the day before it was due, and got a B on it.

This reminds me of when a group I was in finished an English project about a minute before we presented. We ended up with 93% on it.

I never read a whole book in my whole time at high school. Sometimes we would read as a class for a bit and I'd get some information from that but usually I just got the gist of it from blurbs, people who had read the book (the day of the test) and guessing. Spent most of my time in English class playing cards. Still got pretty high marks.

I essentially Bs'ed every single math homework the entire 7th grade. The teacher would lecture the class about how my math homework was incredible, and made other homework look bad by comparison .
