Ever feel like you were born in the wrong year/generation?

I've always had people telling me I'm an "Old Soul" even since I was pretty young because I don't particularly fit in with the norms of my generation. I make no bones about that statement either because I've always kind of felt that way myself.

It seems to me I should have been born sometime around the turn of the century (1890-1914). I've always been fascinated with that period in time and the years following it.

So, OT, ever feel like you should have been born in a different year or like you belonged to a different generation? Are you an "Old Soul"?

I think I should have been born a a year or two earlier.

I sometimes wish i was born in the 1970's & be a teen in the 80's 8)

I think being a teen in the early 90's would've been cool... but overall, I don't feel especially out of place.D_Battery

a litttle I suppose, I personally love the modern conveniences of technology and the way the world works now with all of it, however besides that almost all of my idealogies, beliefs opinions and even taste in music/movies match the 60's so sometimes I wish I lived then.

I wish I had been born ten years earlier. Being 14 in 2010 sucks.

I know that i should have been born in 1985 in stead of 1995. I like an immature 25 year old trapped in a 15 year old body. :cry:

I just think it would have been awesome to be living in the 40s and 50s. I love the fashion of that era, and much of the music. I love women that are dressed up like that.

Nah, I doubt there are many other time periods that would permit me to be lower-middle class and lazy at once. Nor are there many where I could live in such comparative luxury.super_mario_128
