Ever had a run in with the police

Twice for me

Airport: I'm from India, I have a chin strap, I wear dark clothes a lot, I look kind of shifty I guess. I also had red streaks in my hair at that time. The security pulled me into a room to question me about if I had drugs, if I had a weapon, that kind of crap. This was last year by the way. They were trying to get me to confess something but I just held my ground and they let me go. Kind of scary but it was alright. It was on a school trip so my parents were not there to stop me. They interogated five people from our group, Me and one guy were Indian, one guy was Jamaican, one guy was Korean, the other was Japanese. I don't know what's up but the rest of our group was white so I found that really shifty but whatever.

Beach: We were at a beach and a couple idiots in our BBQ started smoking away from the party. Cops caught them, they came to our BBQ and they just put us in cuffs. Looked for alcohol etc, then let us go. What a crock of...

What experiences do you guys have

The closest thing I had to a run in with cops was in grade 5 when the liaison officer would come in and talk to us about drugs and alcohol, and he fed us all these ridiculous "facts" that weren't true at all, so me and my friend didn't take it serious at all and just goofed off during the classes and the dick almost failed us. >_>

Playing cops and robbers with 100+ people at night wasn't my best idea.

I have a run-in with them everyday. I work at my local county Sheriff's Department. Nice guys ... for the most part.

More than 200 times, if not more.

When I was young I used to be juggling and unicycling in Paris. In a jungling spot near Chatelet crowded with junkies and drug's dealers.

I wasn't a dealer, nor using drugs or anything, but I had the "look". Handmade clothers, unicycle, long hairs. And therefore, every time I was leaving the spot I had to pass by police special units (specialised in drugs and stuff like that)

And every time they pulled me to ask me to confess, give my drugs, simple stuff like that.

And every time I had to explain I had nothing to do with those people. I was just an artist.

And every time it was fine.

And this is my conclusion:

People who complain about police's controls have a bad behavior. If you are polite, smart, calm and cooperative, very quickly the policemen understand/feel you're a nice person and not the kind of person they're looking for.

I will admit though that most have not been too bad. Once they talk to me and see I am closer to Obama than say... Soulja Boy, they let me go. Doesn't make it any easier to take, though.

This new associate of mine told me he was beat and spit on as a teen in the back of a police car. He didnt want to tell his parents about it and have to face the cops again. That is what they thrive on, sadly. People's fear.

Well, my father is a former police officer. And I must say our relationship is kind of rocky. So in a way, I have. Although he doesn't have the power to do anything to me in terms of enforcing the law. Just his own.

The closest I ever got to having a run in with cops was in I think 7th grade because I didnt exactly have the best attendance in school.. *cough*
Other than that I'm a good little boy :D

Instead of simply asking me to turn down my music, my neighbors decided to call the fuzz. :x

Other then a traffic violation, nothing (stupid registration stickers, it freaken expired).

Years ago I missed a court date for a traffic ticket and it went to warrant. A while later I got pulled over for an equipment violation and the officer ran my license. I got to call my parents on their anniversary to come bail me out. :oops:

What's funny is that it still comes up occasionally. Apparently a common question for potential jurors is "have you ever been arrested?", so I get to revisit it from time to time.

2 years ago when I was drinking underage at a park (stupid idea, I know), police cars with their sirens came. We all had to run, half drunk, for a kilometre or so into a high school. That's as close that I've come to the police, me and my friends are pretty good.

I was in 11th grade and a friend and I left the school campus to go have a smoke by garages which belonged to the houses that stood there. We did nothing wrong since we were alloud to leave the school campus during the long break and there's nothing against smoking near garages...we just went there so none of the teachers would see us...anyways nobody could see us from the street but all of a sudden a cop car pulls in and they search us saying the got "warnings" (for me this translates to "phone call from some old person sitting at his/her window thinking we were dealing/doing drugs") of drug sales in the area...then they left again.

I got pressed against a wall and searched by 2 undercover cops for being Hispanic in a train station. I also almost got arrested for breaking into my own house lmao. Funny story so I moved to my new address about a year ago, but I never got my address changed on my permit I.D. So I had never used my houses alarm system before and my mom had set it on and it took me a while to set it off, but the alarm had already sounded. So I knew it was only a matter of time before the cops came, but I was like "**** it, I have my I.D." So then the lady cop came I told her I lived there and that it was just a mistake. I go to show her my I.D and she was like your I.D. says you live at X and X(different address). So I was like ohh ****. I asked for a second ran up stairs to look for something with my name on it and fortunately I found my selective service papers which came in just 2 days ago. If I had no found that I would've spent a weekend in jail because that's the only thing in my house that had my name and the address on it.

I was 17, and i was walking home from a house party that was in a village about 20 miles away from my town, me and my friends got picked up by a riot van, your not suppose to walk on those roads i guess! but anyway, he gave us a lift home and as he let us out at my house and he said "don't worry about it lads i use to party too" i was like, what a nice fella :)

I have long hair, wear hoodies and used to bmx.... so yes, many times.

Used to get stopped for apparent criminal damage, drug use and more... alll of which weren't me thankfully.

Yes, I've been arrested in my old school back in L.A.

I don't have a record on me at all but I've been in trouble with the police. Speeding, backtalking, I almost got arrested for vandalizing, destroying property"disturbing the peace". But I handled it all.

I've had encounters but I've never been arrested, I don't think I'm enough of an idiot to get arrested.

When I was 11 I`ve been arrested for underage drinking.

Well, I've been asked stuff by cops several times, and I was with a freind who was being stupid so he got the cops called on him. I just awkwardly watched.

3 or 4 times .I remember two properly I payed my fine for vandalism and same night i got arrested for being drunk.And othr times i remember blurry because I was too drunk

ya freshman year a cop caught me and my friend ditching class and smoking. He was pretty chill all he did was search us for drugs and send us back to class.

Kinda back in high school i would always just run if i did something like drink in public which would of been the problem, never anything else. And never did they catch me so i guess i haven't really had a run in just a run away.

got taken down the "station" on a domestic violence call after fighting with my dad. Apparently my mom called 911 in the midst of the fight. lol I was there for 3 hours getting questioned. very fun, I must say.mohfrontline

I remember fights with my dad.I have knocked 2 teeth out of his mouth.After I knocked them out he saw that he isn' stronger than me and hasn't done anything to me since that.
