Plain and simple: what's the best prize that you have ever won?

It can be merchandise, gift card, CA$H, whatever. What was it?

I once won 8 free drinks in a row in some "Check under the cap" promotion. The woman at the counter refused to keep ackowledging them, and I woulda ranted if I wasn't shaking from the sugar.D3nnyCrane

I one like $87 dollars in bingo when I was ten, but I had to share it! I won it, it was my money. Other than that, I fail at everything.

The stuff that I've won from GS, pretty much.

I won at my school and got to go to the state geography bee in 8th grade.

I also wrote a DARE essay in 5th grade and won for that.

And one time I was honor newspaper carrier of the month.

I won a blockbuster video game tournament several years ago and snagged myself a copy of GTA:SA on launch day as a prize. I was given the choice between that and the Star Wars DVD compilation set. Had I known how bad GTA:SA was going to be I would have gone with the DVD collection.

Another notable prize was this huge jar of jellybeans I won when I was in 1st grade for guessing how many jellybeans were in said jar. Why is that notable? Because when I got home I ate so many of them that I got sick and still get a little queesy when looking at jellybeans to this day 15 years later.

edit: oh yeah, if we're talking about things that aren't contest prizes as well, then there was this national vocublary quiz competition that my school made all the AP Lit students compete in (it was called Wordmasters if anyone is familar with it). Apparently I did really well since I got sent a medal for placing in the top 100 scores in the country.

Also my team won a bunch of stuff doing halo 2 tournaments: $500 barcash for alcohol, and probably close to $200 in certificates at various places.

edit: I have also participated on some winning sports teams (little league baseball champions, SW Connecticut Track champions in high school)

when i was younger i won an oreo stacking contest. i won an oreo watch that had little plastic oreos floating in them. it was HUGE and i thought it was uglier than hell, but..i won it! so i wore it.

I won a pack of tortillas once. I was the happiest man alive.

Last december I won a 42" Vizio HDTV. I gave it to my mom ;)

I won a computer from Breaka a few years ago. You had to clip out a side of the milk carton and send 6 away. I use to come home with smelly lunchbox from keeping the milk carton and make my mom mad but she laughed when I won :lol:

Won a harry potter pack- small chest with diary,pencils and the like I had to send away the plastic things from under drink caps.

And a few minor prizes-Won a tiny hulk gumball machine and nesquick crazy straw cup from some kid magazine. A coloring in comp from video store won me free weekly rentals.

squares is where a 10 x 10 grid is made; each square is worth $1, $10, whatever; you buy as many as you want and then numbers are drawn for each side which correlates to the two teams scores after each quarter; ITS PURE LUCK

but, picking the winner and total points with missing by only one is more impressive :) btw, the steelers and pats can't play in the super bowl they're both in the AFC; must have been the Steelers and Cardinals
