Every person who supports legalizing marijuana is a stoner.

The whole issue of legalizing weed is so phony and biased, it's not even funny. We all know why people want it legalized-- so they can get high without worrying about the cops. It's so obvious.

Or, you know, people realize just how much public money is being spent to persecute and jail non-violent offenders, as well as having to release violent offenders early to make room for the stoners.

Sure you have. Drugs include everything from chocolate (phenylethylamine) to soda (caffeine). Hell, even tap water contains remnants of drugs people have flushed away (and, in many areas, fluoride).

I'm not admitting to the use of the drug (because I can't here) but I'm neither a non-user nor am I a stoner. Also, I'm getting into an industry that has a zero tolerance for drug use of any kind (beyond caffeine and retail NSAIDs), and will continue to support the legalization of all currently illegal drugs, including heroin, methamphetamine and any other quote-unquote "hard" drug. Especially when things like Vicodin and Percocet are completely legal and prescribed by American doctors like candy.

I don't believe that is the case young man. I used to smoke weed back in the day, and i know the feeling of a natural state of mind, remember it clearly. I might support it because i feel there is nothing wrong with a younger generation picking their minds with it, does not make me a stoner. Just a person who understands and supports your cause.

Not true. My mom supports it and she's not a stoner. I support it and I'm a former stoner. I essentially support the decriminalization and regulation of all illicit drugs. I think the black market created is a bigger harm on society than the abuse of the substances themselves.

@bforrester420: Some people think that if it's legal everybody is going to drown in it. I never touched cigarettes, only drank alcohol once and wouldn't smoke pot even if people payed me for it. That being said, people should be free to do all those things as long as they don't bother or endanger others.

I certainly wouldn't go out and smoke meth if it were suddenly legal tomorrow. People make informed decisions, whether they're ill informed or not, and the legal ramifications of drug use are rarely a consideration. I had an easier time getting a bag of pot when I was under the legal drinking age than I did a case of beer.

It should be obvious that I'm not talking about caffeine and friggin fluoride, nor was I talking about anything prescribed to me by a doctor. I have never willingly picked up and ingested a drug that is illegal or age restricted. I have never consciously snorted, smoked or drank any intoxicating or altering substance, illegal or otherwise.

False, I am not a stoner. Even more, if I wanted to buy a bag of dope and get high I could make a call right now illegal or not.

I'm not a stoner, nor have I ever purchased/used an illicit substance of any kind. I support the legalization of all currently illegal drugs. Who really cares if an adult wants to ingest a mind altering substance? If they are going to, it may as well be from a more trustworthy source and in better conditions than what current laws have helped create.
