Everyone's A Tough Guy Nowadays

I was at a bar watching ufc 101 and there were a crowd of people there. There's a group of obnoxious drunks yelling **** at the tv the entire time. Then finally one dude says to them 'you mind keeping it down over there?'. Well I guess after the forrest griffin-anderson silva fight these dudes were still amped up so they confronted him asking to repeat what he said. There's four of them, and they begin talking **** to the one guy who was with his girlfriend. More **** talk, they take it outside, more **** talk, and the fight starts when one of them smashed a beer bottle over the guys head. The other three pounce on him but it was broken up before any serious damage was done.

why does everyone these days think their tough guys and mma fighters?

TC, there were anomalies like this all over my hometown. I agree that MMA has a bad effect on weak minded fools. But when I have complained about it to others many confessed that they too enjoyed MMA. These were people that I considered sensible and would never behave so foolishly.

But I get your point, UFC+booze+morons=poo storm.

That guy was also kind of stupid to not get the bouncer or stay inside the bar where its a bit safer.

Sometimes there's just no way to avoid a fight when your dealing with people of less intelligence. They still think that violence actually solves problems.

Never said he didnt have the right to watch it. All i meant was if you go into a public place especially a bar (where it is usually noisy) it seems illogical to me for someone to expect it to be quiet.

hmmmm 5 dollar cover charge at a bar with a few beers and the girlfriend at your side...

...or the 40+ dollars to rent it in your house.

I'll choose the bar. Its tough paying 40+ dollars for something that only lasts a few minutes, especially when the replays are gonna be on the internet and everything the next morning.
