Yeah, but I don't much care. 18 is less than 1 year away, you know. . .
I saw the thread title and thought "What do pirates have to do with Hewlett-Packard?"
As for the movies, I'll see both. Pirates of the Caribbean is one of my favorite movies and I can't wait to see how the trilogy finishes.
As for Harry Potter, I love the books and have enjoyed all the movies so far, so I look forward to checking it out.Â

The thing is, there are kids who have actually gone into witchcraft because of the books/movies.
i like the pirates movies well enough, but they aren't magnetic enough for me to want to run out and see the new one. i'll end up seeing it eventually. will it be in the theatre? hmm i dunno
now HP is one that I will run out and see. I love those books and the movies :D

Yeah, but then again, those kids are nutcases. And besides, don't you have a better chance of getting into witchcraft through the internet?Â
Both. Only I expect Pirates to be superb, while I'm iffy with Potter. Yates better do a good job, because he's doing Half-Blood Prince.
they both look like crap...and that drug thing in your sig is a lie...Zap-O-Matic
Glad you have such a positive attitude about things.

See the other thing is, HP is in reality nothing like real witchraft. true, but like I said, I don't mind.

True, but I have hard people directly blaming the books for wholly teaching witchcraft to their kids. I do see what you're saying and agree with that.

So they arQuick Quoteen't worried about you becoming a pirate?

My parents don't let me watch Harry Potter. Pirates of course. And I don't care what anyone says. The second movie was just as awesome as the first.
On a POTC related note,
I actually didn't mind that Barbossa was ressurected. This coming from a guy who normally hates character returns. I didn't mind it because Captain Barbossa is just that damn awesome a character.
CaptHawkeye, be careful what you post. Spoilers aren't a good thing for those who haven't seen the film yet.Cyrax-Sektor
Ah, silly me. I guess everyone ignored the trailers for POTC 3 which clearly show
Barbossa is alive.
But fine, i'll be merciful to the agonizingly annoying "zomg spoilz" crowd.

In all fairness, I haven't seen a trailer for POTC3, and maybe others haven't either. I did see POTC2 though, so that's not a spoiler for me. But hypothetically, there may be someone who suddenly decides they want to watch 3, even if they haven't seen 2. Or they're planning to buy 2 on DVD or something, but haven't yet.
And it is really, really annoying when you hear a spoiler =/ There are some people I will never forgive for that reason, heh.

I've seen posts deleted containing spoilers without warning.I have as well. But I believed it was such blatently common knowledge their was no way anyone with even a remote interest in the movies could not have heard of it. It was like claiming someone spoiled the ending of Passion of the Christ.
