Anyway to get rid of them?MushroomWigErm just wait for them to heal I think. I heard that they are like really small damage to your eye. I have them but they're not always the same so I assume they eventually heal.
If they are really bad I think there's surgery but for your basic floaters, no. Everyone has them. I was thinking about getting corrective eye surgery, I wonder if that would sort them out. I have a few and they're very annoying sometimes.[QUOTE="MushroomWig"]Anyway to get rid of them?Pirate700

Lasic? No that won't. I got lasic and while it is a miracle for your vision, it doesn't do floaters.
Oh squiggly line, in my eye fluid I see you there, lurking on the periphery of my vision But when I try to look at you, you scurry away Are you shy, squiggly line? Why only when I ignore you, do you return to the centre of my eye? Oh squiggly line, it's alright, you are forgiven -Stewie Griffinhockey73
Beat me to it
I have these, but I always thought it was just junk on the outside of my eye as they seem to be different all the time.
[QUOTE="pero2008"]I got a question on Lasic eye surgery. Is it true that when the surgery is done they make one eye far sighted and the other near sighted?worlock77
That would make for terrible vision, which runs kinda contrary to the point of lasic surgery.
Actually I've read of this done with contacts. It's for people who need bifocals. That way, one eye has a small advantage for far sight, and one has a small advantage for close sight, so the person has a sort of compromise so they can see near and far reasonably well.
As to the topic, I have eye floaters. I think most do. I noticed mine when I was just a little kid and they were about the same as they are now. They're kind of annoying, but I don't notice them most of the time unless I'm somewhere bright.

With contacts sure. But the point of lasic surgery is to correct bad vision, not compensate for it.
I've tried to see if I have them and honestly I don't notice any, if I do have some they must be really small.PernicioEnigma
Look at a blank sheet of white paper in a well lit area or at a white screen on your computer monitor. Not everyone gets them, but if you have them, that's a way to check.
Yes, i have them.
Some have more, some have less, some dont have at all... but i read somehwere that 7 out of 10 peoplewill have floaters.
I went to my doctor just to be sure nothing is wrong with my eyes and he said that i should just forget about them because its nothing, he said "this is how your eyes is and there is nothing you can do".
So, just forget about them.
