Depends on the situation. If it is important that I need to see changes made to a page right away I use F5, if it is just normal browsing, I just use the refresh button.

That's what I do as well when on my PC. When on my smartphone, I hit the menu key, then hit refresh.

It seems like it would take longer and it takes twice as many clicks.

Refresh button or Ctrl + R for the page I'm on when I'm on desktop/PC. Sometimes I right-click tab -> "Reload Tab" for the page I'm on. Maybe?

Command + R or right-click tab -> "Reload Tab" when I'm on laptop/Mac

I dunno if I do it a set way O_o

I like to just right click and press refresh. Sometimes, when I already have my hands on the keyboard, I will use ctrl+r.

I've almost never used the refresh button in my life. I don't know why but I don't really feel like using it. It's F5 for me.

I hold the right button down and do an up-down gesture. It's an extension for Chrome and I'm pretty sure FireFox had it back when I used it.

F5 on my desktop, refresh button on my laptop - since some genius thought it was a good idea to make F5 the new home key. :roll:

F5 for the win. I guess I'm a desktop user at heart so I'm used to big keyboards, reaching for F5 on my laptop is infinitely easier then using this pudding-esque trackpad. edit: I realize to understand my reference one would have to spend a little time with their fingers in the pudding.
